A hard copy of the following information will be with your tickets. Everyone will be responsible for getting themselves to the football stadium and catching a bus. Keep in mind, you may leave before the game with younger siblings (or tired Scouts).
If you cannot make a bus by 1:30, but would like to come for part of the Mid program you may park in the historic district paid lot or garage. Call me when you arrive and I will try to guide you to where we are at that time.
Vehicle access to the Naval Academy grounds is allowed only for those that have DoD stickers or tags. Fans may ride the free shuttle provided by Annapolis Bus Company from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to Alumni Hall. Please note there is a $5 fee to park at the stadium. Shuttle service begins one and a half hours prior to the scheduled start of the game and the bus loads on the Blue side of the stadium. Parking areas can be accessed through Gate 5 (off Taylor Ave).
The activity will show scouts and their guests about 4 service selection options that Midshipmen face upon graduation: Marine Corps, Surface/Submarines, Naval Special Warfare and Naval Aviation.
Please plan on arriving to Alumni Hall by 1pm when you will meet NESA representatives.
There will be a shuttle running from the Navy Football Stadium (Inside gate 5, by the Blue Angel plane) from 12:30pm until 1:30pm. The shuttle will drop scouts off at Alumni Hall. The shuttle will start back up at 5:30pm to bring people back to the parking lot if needed and they will run constantly until an hour after the Basketball Game ends. Scouts are also welcome to park downtown and walk on to the Academy grounds.
Please plan on eating lunch before you arrive to Alumni Hall. The activity will take place both indoors and outdoors so please dress appropriately.
